Back in 2001, I went on IR and then got cut from the squad that drafted me. Reeling from the fact, that the"impossible" had just occurred and that my ego could not see the signs in the rings of smoke that filled my new pastime. I said "fuck the league" I don't need anybody. Got a few try outs after that, but I just couldn't get my shit together. So I was released again and again. I went to the Mexican Leagues and tried to revive my career. There I hardly tried at all and was content to party myself off the map for a good 5 years. Then a scout saw me at a local taqueria and said he remembered me from back in the days of Q&A with Anew Madrid﻿ and told me he used to enjoy the dope freestyle shows we used to rock every week at the Red Light District on South 1st Street in San Jose. I said awww shit! "You don't know me and get the hell out of here!" That was 6 years ago and since then I have been umpiring little league games, coaching T-ball teams and playing whifle ball tournaments just trying to catch a break. This song was from that road back in 2010. Props to Serk the Jerk for taking the time to record my rusty mic skills.
So many people/friends/fiends come and gone in my life that one can never be completely right again after living in between walls of fire-Q
