This track is most easily summed up by "Existential Crisis". Basically, a situation leads to a realisation, which leads to another realisation, which leads to confusion. The more you know, the less you understand.
On the musical side, the song came from the chorus line which kept coming into my head for a year or two. It took me ages to do anything with it for some reason, but it just kept popping into my head until I finally wrote this song. 
As one of my biggest influences through my life, there is an undeniable, 'upbeat yet emotional' Jeff Buckley vibe. Or so I am told.

Scatterbrain

'Meatsuit' is about the feeling that without the restrictions of the physical world, you could technically do anything. Fly, jump a kilometer into the air, turn into liquid etc. But then again, what do these things mean if there is no physical world? I'm confused now. F*ck gravity...

Another Mistake

Aureus spawned in the underbelly of the independent music scene of Sydney's Northern Beaches, dragging their grunge-pop dirt into the light of the area's predominantly breezy surf-culture.
Hard working and dedicated, the group is fronted by Will Tremain - singer, guitarist, and creative force - with Callum Bevan (drums) and Jason Tremain (bass) providing the grinding machinery to drive the grunge-rock powerhouse that is Aureus' music.
With a slew of gigs, recording sessions and original songs under their belts, this three piece band have been hard at work and turning heads wherever their sound is heard, rapidly gaining popularity since forming in 2014.

Currently, Aureus is mixing a batch of new songs to follow up their second EP, 'Dweller'.
