I wrote this short work a while back and recently had the opportunity to re-record the solo cello part (I am the cellist and pianist in the recording)with a full string section for Clockwork Sessions in Glasgow. The work itself was written during lockdown with a view to expressing the brittle nature of our planet and society during that time. Not much seems to have changed...

The single has been recorded, mixed and mastered in August 2023 at Rare Elements’ studio in Tampere, Finland. Joel Kuortti wrote the lyrics to this song. The song has been composed and arranged by Harri Sarpavaara. He plays all instruments and sings on the track. He has also recorded, mixed and mastered this single.

Thought I may as well join in. It's already good song so I didn't alter it too much. I duet-ted with it on guitar and added vocals, a little bit of bass and drums, a few additional strings, created an extra chorus/break section, that's about it. Enjoyed it.
