Aurin is now preparing for the upcoming late spring 2014 release of their second album "Catharsis" after attracting the attention of Grammy Awarding winning producer/engineer Jason Corsaro. The album will be mastered by the "master of masterers," Howie Weinberg. The as of this moment untitled sophomore album is set for a Spring 2014 release. From there, the sky's the limit.

“Through struggle we prevail. Through Struggle we unite. You are not alone. This is our Pre-Inspired Symphony…” is something that the members of Aurin know all too well. “We all have a need to connect to one another in some way, shape, or form, even if it’s simply to be acknowledged by someone else who can reassure us that we are not alone. We strive to be remembered,” says guitarist Andrew Wayne. This concept of finding one another through mutual experience and thought is heavily driven into the musicianship and songwriting of Aurin.

Born and raised in the Garden State, the members of Aurin not only live, but breathe music. Growing up as part of generation “why?,” music was the one thing that its members ever truly understood. Music provided answers. Over years of writing and working, Aurin’s musical direction has molded into an eclectic style of hard rock. Aurin has developed an approach so that they may continue, progress, and modernize the nature of raw, emotional music from generations past.

In October of 2011, Aurin entered Redemption Studios in Clifton, NJ with NJ/NYC native producer, Stephan Wojtecki, to record their first, full-length, debut album, “The Pre-Inspired Symphony.” The album is currently available on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and can also be ordered through their official website: http://www.aurinband.com/

Since the release of “The Pre-Inspired Symphony,” Aurin has been honored with a favorable feature in The Aquarian Weekly, great show turn-outs and interactivity with their fans, been given their fair share of air-time on WDHA, WSOU, WVOX, including many online radio stations, and have shared the stage with national acts such as Hurt, Smile Empty Soul (ReverbNation/GhostRocket Music chosen winners), Spineshank (CD release tour), 40 Below Summer (multiple shows on their CD release tour), and Mureau. Aurin has also done charitable work for The Children's Tumor Foundation. Aurin and the CTF had put together a successful benefit show to raise money for a cure for Neurofibromatosis.
