A friend of mine invited me over to his place  his elderly father was there and we had a conversation.He then told me the sad tale of how he had loss two wives to cancer his words moved me so much that I wrote a song to tell his story.

I decided to cover Pink Floyd's track Cymbaline from the movie sound track More. Pink Floyd has been a huge influence with my love of music and the passion to create it. I have had very vivid reoccuring dreams lately about a woman in a laundry mat. After thinking on this for a while I decided to write a song about it.

My track is a mental reflection of some very tough questions I wrestle with and I decided to work it out on the acoustic. The idea came to me while I spent Thanksgiving binge listening to music such artist as BB King Joe Cocker and Eric Clapton the progression had seem to come from someplace deep in my soul.

When I originally wrote waiting on the rain my voice was still lacking certain vocal ranges so I did a instrumental track instead at that time. I was never really happy with it so I rerecorded it the way I really intended it to sound like. I wrote this song about a close friend of mine and his mental decline after his lover had taken her own life. It has been a long time since I thought about this time of my life and decided to write a song about it.
