This track was a fun creation conceived by the first sequence of notes played solidly, as the seed for the rest of the patterning. I arpeggiated the sequence and then quickly realized that it should have a few more "clusters" with which to fuck around with. Once I figured those out I laid down the drum n bass trax, et voila! Hope you enjoy.

I began my journey as Aurorah on the scene in Toronto as a live instrumentalist jamming over dj sets..

Inspired by two pieces from the Bach family and my love of house music, this fusion is a fun way to get down on the dancefloor and experience culture all at once!

This piece is a favourite of mine. Set to Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1, and a poem about how I play the juxtaposition of this 19th century piece with my playfully constructed liquid drum n bass build, fills me with delight! I hope it delights you as well.

I'm super proud of the lyrics of this one. Written in segments over the years and complied in this piece of music, this song cuts to the core of existence, remarking about the choices available between light and dark.

Aurorah at Boreal, what could be more perfect! I certainly felt perfect playing this set on these sacred and beautiful lands, to a crowd of welcoming, smiling souls. This festival called me into a community where I feel at home and like I belong and it was my honour to provide my sounds. Enjoy my Friday night soul soothing, magical music.

Boreal Set 2023

I love playing with my Phantom friends at Sunday School: a series of parties run by dance floor veterans and lovers of good art, leading us up to PhantomFest - our annual summer camping festival.

This is my set from the Easter Sunday School edition on March 31st 2024. A mix of smooth downtempo grooves, bass house, trip hop and gentle sways all the way up to dance tunes at 120bpm. 

I'm incorporating my new drum pad in this set, which has me super excited at the capability of my new sounds. Delightedly playing my original songs and re-imagined covers, I had my audience enthralled from start to finish. Enjoy!

Phantom Sunday School Easter Edition Set

I was delighted to be invited to the 5th anniversary of the Squigley Duck's Canna Kick It event, in Toronto May of 2024. The amount of times I've been called the title of this song.... I can't even begin to tell you. Truth is, the label is a badge of honour as far as I see, as it simply means I do not follow the crowd. Close your eyes, and enjoy my version of being Crazy ;)
