Syven plays atmospheric, dark, and heavy ambient. The traditional Finnish string instrument - the kantele - is joined by atmospheric synth layering, ritualistic percussion and heavy distortion where appropriate to convey shamanistic and primordial themes. Originally released on Syven's debut full length "Aikaintaite".

 Song is inspired by Hávamál and is about cycle of life, about our path after death. Many people think that Valkyries are there only for Odin´s hall of the slain - Valhalla, but there is lot more. Fólkvangr is goddess´s Freyja "form" of Valhalla and Odin gave her the right to be first who will choose among dead for her fields and other half belong to Odin and go to his Valhalla.
