Joey started DJing at the young age of 15. The first equipment was a belt drive turntable. At the time he support many great Artist and Labels in his Techno mixes, he plays on all different controllers and players like CDJ or XDJ.

Friends, another mix is online! This time with a video recording. Hands up for Effektkind!

Straightforward techno with melodic sounds and thumping bass – that's Effektkind!
Even at a young age, he was influenced by electronic sounds, which led him to delve deeper into techno.
In 2012, he began his first experiments with mixing tracks by his favorite artists.
He quickly got the hang of recording a diverse, driving set.
In 2015, he decided to purchase his own equipment. This was the starting point
for his career.
In 2016, he won a newcomer contest and landed his first club gig. It was at P-kay's Birthday Bash, organized by Shining Events at the Rixxclub in Rastatt.
During the after-hours, he really got the crowd going again, a huge and important experience in his
journey.
He also began learning how to produce his own tracks. He made Seismic Charges, his first track, available to his community as a free download.
Another production, The Dub, was released in 2017 on CLB Records, including a Chris Lehmann & Choco Loco remix.
He also collaborated with Room 307 Records, about which a Faze Mag interview appeared in the April 2022 issue.
