STOCKING STUFFERS

Mix test with new computer. Stuff is the usual. Drums are GGD OKW Architects. Guitar is Aristides 060 w/ BKP Aristides Custom pickups into NDSP Nolly and Plini. Bass is Dingwall NG-3 into NDSP Darkglass B7k. Got some VSTs from Spitfire Audio's LABS that kick ass for piano and strings. Threw some Fabfilter and Waves stuff too for mixing. In the original demo I had the guitars come in after the solo clean part but decided to have them fade in to hear the contrast in moods from a church/worship song into a heavy sludgy track.

This is a song I spent today remixing and re-recording. This isn't the whole song but a comparison of what I achieved 5 years ago versus what I'm able to create today. I'm a humble person but I want to take a little pride in the distance I've come since then!

I was feeling nostalgic so I decided to re-record Automaton and The Lifeless, back from my days of A City Undone (now Imora). Put my own stank on it too. All instrumental. Hopefully someone who knew this from back in the day can appreciate it. Let me know what you think! :)
