珂拉琪 Collage- 萬千花蕊慈母悲哀 (Austin Yen Remix)

This track is one of the compositions I made in MUSC 125 for the prompt "The Oswald":
"Create two short, contrasting works made entirely of very short, unprocessed samples, all taken from a single recording of a famous musical work."

As the title and thumbnail suggest, this track was made entirely from samples of the infamous song "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. There are no edits or effects added throughout the entire track (Just some light EQ on the master for posting on Soundcloud). All the samples were chopped using Slicex and initially arranged using a random number generator. Hope you guys like it!

*The prompt "The Oswald" is named after John Oswald, who made "DAB", which is a rearrangement of Michael Jackson's "Bad", using similar techniques.

2019 臺中二中78屆畢業歌《It's Our Time》

The song "Taiwan" by Brian Tseng is a parody in response to the song "China" by 劉樂妍. The lyrics and multiple scenes in "China"'s MV repeatedly enforce the idea of " Taiwan is a part of China" which offended many Taiwanese people. As such, Brian collaborated with DJ Hauer to make a parody that shows the main difference between China and Taiwan in terms of both food and politics. I really liked Brian's approach and decided to make a Melbourne bounce remix of the song. 

Politics and memes aside, I hope you guys like this remix :)
