Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. 'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

They grew up listening to Hard House and 90 trance, which then transitioned into Melodic, Afro and Indie, and echo’s some of those unique sounds and interesting riffs that they grew up on.

The EP consisting of three 4x4 tracks in “Digital Awakening, Only Choice and The Edition” are dance floor stomper that consistently turn the dance floor on its head. Rounding out the release is “Response” which is a unique breakbeat record and stands on its own. All In all, we are very happy to have Bohm and know that this won’t be their first outing on UGENIUS.

I do not own the rights to the vocal samples or bass melody.

The son of a blues guitarist, Austin was introduced to the drums at a young age, with influences like Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Allman Brothers laying the initial foundation for his music. First exposed to electronic music in his teenage years, Austin’s focus gradually shifted from playing drums to producing his own tracks. 

After a decade of learning and developing his sound, the Florida native has signed with a number of labels including Coldharbour Recordings, Siona Records, and Freegrant Music, having found his niche in the darker side of progressive house. He has established a mix series in his Nightride podcast, a forum to share unreleased work and his favorite tracks of the moment, and recently launched his own label of the same name. 

Many of Austin's releases have charted on Beatport, with his remix of Stan Kolev's 'Listen' hitting #4, his collaboration 'For You' hitting #9, and his original 'Nightride' hitting #15 Progressive House tracks. On Spotify, his 'Listen' remix has eclipsed 1,000,000 streams, with several other tracks exceeding the 200,000 mark. Having garnered support from Armin van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Cristoph, Grum, Paul Thomas and more, Austin continues to emerge as an artist in the underground progressive scene.
