MARC HOULE UNVEILS ‘RESTORED’ REMIX ALBUM 	

Marc Houle is set to release a full remix package from his debut LP, Restore, featuring remix contributions from an all-star line-up of techno luminaries including Danny Daze, Harvard Bass, Julian Jeweil, Joris Voorn, M.A.N.D.Y., Popof and Marc Houle himself.

Originally released on Richie Hawtin’s Minus label a decade ago, Restore stands alone as Houle’s very first long-player and helped to establish his penchant for the quirkier side of techno and his superlative production skills. Spread across 11 tracks it encapsulated the dark, minimal, groove-driven sound purveyed by Hawtin and the rest of the Minus crew, while retaining a strong sense of Houle’s unique character and identity. Now it’s the perfect time to breath new life into an album that has stood the test of time, still utterly infectious and absorbing – a collection of music that captures an era of stripped back, yet captivating sounds. 

10 years since its release, the album is getting the remix treatment and Marc has called in some of the very best in techno talent to give Restore a fresh makeover. The selection of artists who’ve contributed to the ‘Restored’ project includes heavyweights such as Joris Voorn, M.A.N.D.Y. and Popof together with additional reworks from stars of the new generation such as Danny Daze, Julian Jeweil and Harvard Bass, all giving his tracks a new lease of life. In addition, Houle himself has also stepped up to offer a new contemporary take on his own music, collaborating with vocalist Genevieve Marentette on ‘Demor’.

Bartek @Moon Kitty presents Moontribe Sunday Vibe Streaming Edition

For over two decades now, Kraig Tyler, aka Liquid Giraffe, has ascended through the ranks in the music industry while constantly honing his skills along the way. From his bands like Chemlab and 16Volt to being a member of Crazytown and working with The Plain White T's, his mastery as a songwriter and musician has continued to be evident throughout. But when the bands died down he developed a passion for Drum & Bass and began down the path of domination in the electronic realm.

Recently, Liquid Giraffe returned to the spotlight as he delivered a fresh album for his fans to soak in and get down to wherever they might be listening from called Peloton. This 11-track album features a number of solid tunes that will satiate the cravings of any DnB lover looking for their fix like "Wat U Wan" and "TimeGrind."

There’s something special when 2 DJs play a back-to-back tag set, picking up from where the other left off, flexing their own style while leaning into the other’s. Something unique comes from that. 

But how do we do that under today's distancing guidelines?
Decibel Point and The Willisist came up with a digital relay process for not 1 but 2 simultaneous mixes and the outcome is fire!

Remember the excitement of an upcoming show? Warm invitations shared with friends and community, building the anticipation, and that moment when the night finally arrives...

A spark is struck. Let's go!

WD heats it up with clean, punchy, rolling Drum and Bass. Blood starts pumping, rekindling the vibes of a dancefloor that knows the party has begun!

DW blazes hot, heart pounding with enthusiasm, throwing you into the inferno of full energy DnB. It's that special moment when you look around and realize the party is popping off!

How did we do it?  The Digital relay.
We each started our own set, Willisist imagining an 11pm tag set at a show, and Decibel Point picturing 1am.  After each recording a 15 minute section, we sent that reference and the last track to each other, to then record the next 15, then back and forth 2 more times until we stitch together 2 separate 1 hour mixes.
