Lost Film is set to release new single “Big Talk” from a collection of signature lo-fi jangle pop recordings written during the early days of the pandemic. Texturized by not much more than an electric guitar, a drum machine and distorted synthesizers, “Big Talk” marks a return to minimalist, early aughts' guitar-pop. The single wastes no time bursting into a soaring hook that lingers on the question of "is it where you are that keeps us apart or is it who you are?" Solitude can offer a silver lining of showing what we're able to live with and more importantly live without.

Written and recorded by Jimmy Hewitt (Lost Film) at home (Easthampton, MA) in July 2020.

"Young God (gotta lotta feeling)" is the first single from the Twain release 2 E.P.s due January 25, 2019 via Keeled Scales. 

2 E.P.s is a 12" double E.P.  The first side, "New Miami Sound," consists of unreleased material from the "Rare Feeling" album sessions.  

The second side, "Alternator," is an intimate recording of singer and songwriter Mt Davidson performing a selection of his songs in a van. It is the first "solo" Twain music to be released on vinyl and features early versions of two songs that later appeared on "Rare Feeling," the title track and "Black Chair." These are the complete tapes and feature interesting sounds which are not available elsewhere.

'Get to the End’ is the debut single from Girlatones' second album Horn if You’re Honky to be released March 20, 2020. ‘Get To The End’ expands on the Melbourne 4-piece's bubblegum garage pop by delving into more melancholic territory. The song explores feelings of powerlessness upon losing one’s connection with someone close. The arrangement is sparse, turning the spotlight on singer Jesse Williams’ fragile vocal delivery and straight-up, affecting lyrics. The chime of a piano and warm, direct guitars build and swirl around the listener like an incoming tide.
