I could never attempt to "rank" my weddings because every event is unique and special in its own way. 

This playlist highlights my *favorite* wedding sets, based purely on how well I felt I performed as that couple's DJ/MC. A truly great wedding set comes from a mix of factors, but when I’m completely in sync with the music and the crowd, magic is made!

[OPEN FORMAT] Casual Fridays: What If I DJ'd Our Wedding?

It’s not often I get a couple that asks for almost 100% EDM and house music. After some Tom Petty for dad and 5 or 6 "wedding" songs, we moved into the 00's hip-hop, then quickly diving into the EDM. Lauren and Aaron are really into 2012-2014 dance music like SHM, Alesso & Martin Garrix, so I really tried to lean into that vibe. 

The dance floor was full and the crowd was electric all night. A party I'll never forget!

What. A. Party. For open dancing, all Paulina and Kyle requested were some throwback hip-hop and latin... that was it!I had my Associate DJ Daniel spin this set- We opened with the classics, hit some cumbias, and ended with a ton of throwbacks and a touch of EDM. So happy I recorded this one because it's a ton of fun!

WHAT. A. VIBE. Sad I missed the first ~15mins because this set and this party was hot from the moment it started. Being a past coworker and friend of Doug, my wife and I both got to attend and celebrate these two and had an amazing time! Thanks for having us both a part of your special day and for trusting me as your DJ! <3

An amazing wedding an awesome couple, Kaitlin and James!

The bride had told me before the wedding, "we really don’t love when songs play for too long. People start getting disinterested and dancing slows down and it kind of kills the vibe." CHALLENGE. ACCEPTED.

There was a big wedding party and lots of toasts, so our dance party actually got delayed about 30 minutes. I had no choice not to mix fast to get through all their requests and give them an awesome dance party! 

They really wanted to be taken back to their high school dances where "every song was a banger and we danced all night." If you give this mix a listen, I'll think you'll agree I brought that vision to life!

Directly following my longest wedding set ever was what I think is actually my SHORTEST wedding set-- a 45 minute POWER set of non-stop energy. Some dinner delays and a lot of toasts pushed back our dancing time, but this group was ready to GET DOWN. I fed off the energy and just kept hitting banger after banger, mixing as fast as I could to get through all their requests. Really proud of how this one came out-- THANK YOU Cass and Wyatt for trusting me as your DJ!

McKenna + Paul wanted minimal "cheese" and lots of House. Rinsed through some classic wedding favorites but got straight to it with lots of disco house and EDM. What a blast of a wedding-- thank you M+P for trusting me as your DJ!

This infamous CABO WEDDING! When Ben + Kim asked me if I would fly to Cabo to DJ their wedding, I was floored-- Probably one of the coolest opportunities I'll ever receive and for one of the best couples. With Ben being a college friend of mine, they invited my wife and I to party with them all weekend. Full of Latin House and top notch vibes, this will go down as one of my favorite weddings sets of all time. Truly a vacation wedding I'll never forget. LOVE YOU GUYS <3

I had the honor of hosting the After Party of Courtney + Carter's HISTORIC Cabo wedding reception-- and the vibes did not disappoint. After their wedding band performed a lot of well-known wedding classics, we filled the after party playlist full of nu-disco, Pop/Punk sing-a-longs, and EDM ballads. Christy + Kyle gave me free reign over their playlist-- with just a couple must plays and some guest requests, I curated their dance party with some of my favorite tunes, vibing off the energy of the crowd! This was one of those weddings where not a single person came up to me to request a song...just an amazing group of people enjoying themselves and enjoying time with their favorite couple! Chanel + Jason’s wedding took place that their beautiful new home in Yucaipa, so their dance party was an *actual* house party! The house party vibes and kickback energy led to me playing out my early tunes and saving a lot of their bangers toward the end of the night, which ended with bride and groom dancing on their kitchen counter— a moment I’ll never forget! Opened with some cumbias para la familia, but as soon as the kids were gone, they wanted some real hip-hop. La Vibora was wild-- the energy on this dance floor was relentless.
