Interpretation:
A mind disturbed by emotion. Guided by the desire to know the truth, it seeks depth. After passing through the violent waves of emotion, silence emerges. The quiet surroundings bring calm, but deep within lies a sleeping passion. Curiosity must not awaken that passion, because it can never be controlled.

Interpretation:
We often find our consciousness filled with noise. No matter how much we try to shake it off, new noise soon rushes in. Delicate emotions, hidden beneath intensity and strength, get drowned in the unrest. So we pretend not to notice. Because sometimes, it's only through chaos that we manage to preserve a sense of calm.

Interpretation:
One is often inexplicably drawn to an unknown world of the unconscious. I tried to enter, but something pushed back. Still, I went deeper. Eventually, I understood why the rejection came. Then I realized. There is no going back. One must go on living, carrying a new poison within.

A calm world. There is comfort in things that don’t change. Yet, the world quietly begins to move. Why abandon peace and head in a new direction? While we are still pondering, the world is already seeking something else. Perhaps there’s something to learn from its fearless refusal to stand still.

The mind continues to distort. A sensation akin to intoxication feels pleasant. Over time, a sense of unease arises about remaining in this state. The reason for the pleasure is unclear, and that uncertainty gives rise to anger. The anger is swallowed by pleasure, and calm returns. The mind continues to distort.

AUTISTØNIC is a DJ who lives with autism and explores psychological and emotional landscapes through sound. I call each of my mixes a “Mental Collage”, a finished work in which various forms of underground techno are woven together to reflect on the inner worlds of the mind. These collaged sounds guide listeners on a deep psychological journey. My own interpretation of Mental Collage may also serve as a companion along the way.
