Life happens, and sometimes it happens in the most unexpected of ways, so I've not so much as touched a machine, or opened up my DAW in the past couple months.

SP//W-Cant Sleep Feeling

Thought I'd start uploading some WIP bits, and ideas that will likely stay on my hard drive... Back to the essence of what SoundCloud is about.

This is something I made completely on the Novation Circuit (I think it's quite an underrated groovebox for the price) on my lunch break. I tracked the audio of each channel out into Reason, so I could do some quick mixing & mastering to beef it up.

Expect more experimental uploads to come. Safe!

I found the file for this remix on my old external hard drive. Monsta must have sent me the vox and stems over 15 years ago. 

The mix was very rough around the edges, it had never been finished or exported. So I wrapped it up, then gave it a mix down and master this past week. 

Big up Mr. Key, an underrated rapper IMO. He's always been one of my favourites from Contact Play. Hope you all dig the wonkyness, I feel it fits the theme of the lyrics nicely...
