Just in time to celebrate the undisputably best time of the year, I am happy to proffer my third effort in the lil series that is Italo Obscuro. In this musical hodgepodge, you will encounter exuberant and also pensive Italo, enriched with Synth (Wave), Disco, Canzone Napoletana, Freestyle, Hi-NRG, Dork-Pop, and whimsical covers. Not too much actual spookiness is included, but you may find one song fitting the season like a glove 🦇  If you are a real veteran of Italo Disco, you might not deem all songs to be actually super unheard of, so try to take the title with a skosh of salt.

After a few intense months at work, I'm finally back. Everyday life had a firm grip on me, and my channel unfortunately had to take a break – but now the radio silence is over. This mix is ​​my musical sign of life and a small apology to everyone who has been patiently waiting in the meantime.

For this comeback mix, I've dug deep into my record bins and compiled a carefully curated selection of forgotten disco rarities for you – with a special focus on South Africa, North America, and, of course, Italy. The tracks embody the spirit of Italo Disco, sometimes subtle, sometimes aggressive, but always with that bittersweet blend of euphoria, nostalgia, and unbridled desire to dance.
