Hailing from Bochum in Germany's Ruhr area, Automatic Self Destruct set out to create their own sonic vision in 2008. Musically stamped by thrash, death, punk and hardcore in the 1980's, these guys are consequently acting out their genuine roots and preferences. From songwriting up to the band's collective sound, metal made by Automatic Self Destruct could almost be described as what the kids call "old school" these days - if only this term wouldn't suck that much...

So what do you get from Automatic Self Destruct? Songs like a lethal punch right in your face. A sound like a tank crushing through your house. Brutal riffs and rolling midtempo grooves just making you want to bang. A most aggressive shouter radiating nothing but anger, hate and despise. Lyrics telling stories about war, demise and perdition. Automatic Self Destruct - Germany's incarnation of violence! 

The first demo "We bring the Ü to America" was released in 2008, followed by the EP "Generation Violence" in 2009. Automatic Self Destruct's debut full-length album "Code Death Mission" has been released in April 2011.
