The Dance We’ve Been Waiting For

"Dividing Water" follows on from the last release "Reflection" which was intended to create a bridge between the first two tracks and "Dividing Water". This piece was created using D Major following on from C# Major in the previous piece. This was done intentionally because D Major represents the intensity and brightness of light. For the composer D major also had a bright yellow colour coupled with the mode. The piece not only plays around in the light but in the golden warm embrace of God, the place where everything we know began. The completed suite will be released on the Youtube Channel "On The Edge Of Silence" as the suite is an extension of the Sean's current research into "silence", scripture and the arts. "Dividing Water" features the piano, guitar, double bass, drums and synth. The music not only looks at the light of God but creation. The title refers back to Genesis 1:1 - 5 and similarly, so does Sean's research.

Richard Easel is the electro project of Berlin-based DJ and producer and Italian born Riccardo Sbardella. Derives a sense of style out of his various IDM and Hip Hop projects contrived in the past. Richard Easel is an artistic endeavour that serves as an outlet for his own unique style of Electro. The word Easel comes from Buchala Synth the Easel, as a tribute to his passion for modular synthesisers, and especially for West Coast Synthesis.

Richard Easel: has forged collaborations with, Datawave, DVS NME, Izapa, Francois Dillinger who works on ideas and productions when he comes to Berlin. Easel is based here with his studio, where he has recently had the pleasure of working Federico Leocata. His more recent discography is productions with labels such as Blind Allies, followed by Va's in Patrick Van Neck’s label “zwaartekracht”, Dionysian mysteries, Bande Magnétique and Lost Control. A newcomer to Specimen we gauge Easel’s passion for his own unique style of Electro, which is trout to the label with a 4 track Ep Exterreri (“Nightmare”)

The EP comprises of the 3 distinct styles in one release, Easel with intricate sublimation and experimental modular sounds of the Buchala. Datawave’s remix of Exterreri, with his trademark spatial depth, charged electro and Federico Leocata with his unique funky-minimal approach, which renders his darkly mysterious sound unlike Metaphysix underpinning a sound suited to Specimen and its future sound.
