Oh yes… that build-up—culminating in drops like Earwig and Gorillaz—hits just right.
Recorded in Brussels using 2x XDJ, a Xone 92, and a touch of pedal-driven magic.

Sometime in February 2025, the Warning crew (@warningberlin) set sail to international waters, setting course directly to the infamous community space coppi, floating freely in the vast ocean of the berlin scene.  No storm, no flu-wave, no BVG-strike could stop these fierce electronic buccaneers from taking over the coppi studio for a night.  Bringing with them their treasured black, shiny disks, a mix of old crew members and some newfound friends showcased their very individual styles, while all being connected by their deep passion for music.

Weathered Warning member @philipp-otterbach on opening duties didn’t disappoint: Starting with some slower experimental sounds, undulating between murky tracks as dark as the night’s ocean and ones evoking images of flittering sunrays, Philipp’s set got heavier and groovier from the second half. Effortlessly switching between broken beats and deeper tech excursions, his versed psychedelic style spoke for itself.

My Favorite Robot consists of Canadian artists Jared Simms, James Teej, and Voytek Korab. Having played some of the biggest festivals and venues around the world, the Robots have cemented their name in the deep house / techno scene. Their record label, fittingly titled My Favorite Robot Records, has hosted some of the most sought after producers in the industry, which has only furthered the popularity of the trio. Ben Sims - Run It Red 023 (October 2016 / NTS Radio)

Here for your perusement, a live set recorded on the 19th of November 2016 at the Triskel Arts Centre in Co. Cork, Ireland, as part of Mick T-Woc's album launch, which was held therein.

This live set, as usual, contains an inordinate amount of error-laden blips and bloops from an obstreperous and cantankerous assembly of barely functioning synthesisers and drum machines. Enjoy, where possible.

Cheers Jay for the photo, Mick Woc for recording and Wicklow massive and general assembly of Cork heads for what was an entirely  pleasant dance party.

November 2016 Live Set

On Saturday night, DJ Tennis and Rebolledo took over the The Warrior´s DJ booth in three different chapters. The first one making the score for the Man Burn which was emotional and intense, then the smooth and subtle transition from that to the first beats to celebrate the end of a week long journey.

It's been a while since we posted our last podcast, nonetheless the wait has been more than worthwile. This time we asked the two German deejays/producers to provide some elevating beats for our series. Bodin and Jacob played themselves in the spotlight through recent mixes and productions and as such very much earned a spot for themselves right here.

The guys don't go for half work either. For the podcast they dug out an 80's analog mixer for juicing up the recording to the fullest. Respect! So get your head ready for some crate diggers delight and contemporary funk from these two talented german players. We're looking forward to seing them develop the coming years.
