Lobster joins for DifferentSound Podcast #107.

This Vault Sessions resident origin story is not unusual - the passionate raver turned DJ - yet it is precisely this time as a dancefloor veteran which has given Lobster an intuition for what makes a great party and what dancers like himself like to hear. With a musical library spanning multiple genres, tempos and decades, Lobster always has the fitting track ready to play out, scouting the dancefloor for the right moment. His keen sense of the crowd has led him to play sets for hungry audiences in venues all over Europe.

While he is primarily focused on his DJ career, Lobster has also been busy shaping his sound with producing which has resulted in releases on respected labels like Room Trax, BCCO and Oecus.

Welcoming NYC based @holden-federico to our 19th edition of Alphabet podcast. continuing with the raw, up-tempo rolling techno drill we all love! 

"With this mix, I aimed to make the techno mix I want to hear—both as someone on the floor and as someone listening in headphones. This collection of songs is focused primarily on theme and narrative. My primary goal was using layering and track selection to bring story and pacing to the forefront. There are lots of different textures, styles, and eras within this mix, but cumulatively it represents my definition of a modern approach to classic techno: raw, soulful, rhythmic, stripped-back, and futuristic."

Next up on the Raserei podcast series is the french Berlin-based DJ and producer Marsch. After starting producing 5 years ago, she released on well-known labels such as SYXT or Room Trax. Before that, she focused for a few years on music curation, writing various press releases, interviewing artists, and in recent times she is also appearing behind the decks in multiple clubs. Her sound, also represented in her productions, is characterized by deep rhythms and blurry vocals which she is recording herself! In this podcast, she showcases her selection and vision as an artist to the last detail.

In 2017 Red Rooms came to life inspired by the tracks of artists such as Rodhad, Exium, Dasha Rush, Truncate, TWR72 just to name a few. It's the minimalistic, hypnotic sound combined with energetic and driving grooves that define his sound. Just a month ago in April 2022 his first vinyl called "Sunbeams" was released on Planet Rhythm supported by Claudio PRC, MARRØN, Kangding Ray, Rene Wise, Richie Hawtin and many more. The second one will be following in September 2022. Alongside the phsyical releases he'll be releasing tracks on Drawner Records, Out Of Place Records and Malör Records.
