This morning I came across the phrase ‘locking in’, which basically means to focus for a short time — short-term pain for long-term gain.  However, I would ask ‘where is the sustainability in that?’.  I would argue that truly great things are developed over time.  Indeed, true value is often not realised until many years after creation.  Many artists rely on this fundamental truth.  What do you think?
