The new edition of our Radio Pari show features a live set by Raccoglimento Parziale of Aut Records, an Italian record label dedicated to experimental music and music research based in Berlin.

Stefano and Andrea of Raccoglimento Parziale in their own words: 

Raccoglimento Parziale dedicates itself to the quest for harmony between shapes and personalities otherwise incompatible, although oftentimes belonging to the same sphere. Pieces have a general structure but are then re-built improvising with old and new sounds. 
Our set-up includes laptop, synthesizer, pedals, tapes, bass guitar and so on, but we often change equipment. 

This mix consists of live extracts mixed with old and new tracks.

Radio Pari #14 Guest show by Raccoglimento Parziale

Jessica Ekomane (https://soundcloud.com/jessica-ekomane) really impressed me with her track "To Whoever Shall Inherit the Earth", which featured on the Urban Arts Synthesis Vol 1 compilation last year. Born in France, she's now based in Berlin. Her work is inspired by such subject matter as German expressionism, sex work and Ballard, as well as more abstract notions of space and technology. She has won numerous awards and has presented her work in countries such as Germany, China and Australia. She recently took part in a discussion on the role of women in electronic music that took place at Kantine am Berghain.

The mix she's made for us features sound recordings of marginalised voices, musique concrète and intriguing modern songwriting. It's short, but nonetheless fascinating.

Aut Records is a not-for-profit, cooperative record label dedicated to experimental and research music. We are trying to describe a musical environment that cannot be inscribed into a genre category, as well as distant from a particular musical language.

Our main goal is to promote projects concerning unusual sonorities. We are convinced that any positive result derives from a research off the beaten tracks, deviations from the mainstream, which is often a sterile environment if conceived as the only possible solution.

Basically, we offer what we, actually, appreciated while listening to it; further, we really enjoy the pleasure to make our productions available to anyone appreciating our work, that is as important as games are.
