Those who crave a nourishing sonic experience have followed Katharine’s journey along the Australian East Coast with her musical partner Ben Abrahams for over two decades as they’ve influenced the scene with their exciting taste & consistent delivery of stimulating underground house & techno. They spent the late 90s & early 2000s playing sideways house, of which they have a large collection, obtained without fail on shipment day from their favourite record stores in Brisbane and Melbourne.

Katharine had the first of her two children before returning to Melbourne and putting on high-vibe parties at the infamous Killing Time Bar & My Aeon, always with a tight crew of Australia’s best underground djs. Now they have their forward thinking electronic music label Motion:Theory:Music representing local artists. 

Katharine has played magical closing sets out in the bush, as her unique way elevates and deeply satisfies at both sunset & sunrise. After taking many years out from music and returning to college at SEM Manchester and graduating in 2019 is as enthusiastic if not more so than the younger days.Moving to Vancouver soon after SEM in 2019 ,EM-JãŸ spent his time playing music with one of the most active crews in Vancouver,BC “Vantek “ and  More recently in late 2021 founding APX Collective and organizing events by Starting off at the now infamous underground club , The Mine , where he was instrumental in setting the place up and running and organizing events there.Now back in Manchester Uk , and spending time back at SEM Manchester at music production and sound design .Can be got Playing a broad range of sounds from minimal & melodic to hard Techno and House depending on the mood and time.

Kostadin Iliev was born in Gabrovo, Bulgaria in 1994. His passion for the underground sound gave birth when he moved in the sea capital of the country – Varna. 

Kostadin has played in various house clubs, boats and party locations that are significant for the Bulgarian techno stage. His collaboration with several Bulgarian DJs and producers has shifted his music culture to a whole different level. Playing in different clubs and organizing gigs in miscellaneous places, has created his unique and diverse signature sound. Kostadin’s production is a fascinating experience of deep-minimal house with sneaky drops of dub and tech house. 

Later, moving back to his hometown Ruse, being closer to the Romanian border, the artist was influenced by the specific Romanian sound. This touch gave him a different sense for producing music on another dimension.
The young Bulgarian artist has proved himself in plenty of labels such as: Psicodelica, Nevada, Family Electro Music, Habitat, IWant Music, Substrate Music and more.

Bearing dynamics yet finding mysterious energy in his work, the music has done the talking for the artist himself.

The major call for electronic music in terms of DJing and Music Production came at the age of 30, in 2012 when he first attended a DJing course followed by a Production one at Subbass Academy in London. One year later, CK won 3 DJ competitions in a row: EDC London, Movida Corona UK & Amnesia Ibiza DJ Challenge and also had his first EP released - Back from SubBass. In the early 2022, when we still called ourselves DEEPtHREEM, we invited our fantastic friend @mandarin-ffr (co-founder and label manager of Fantastic Friends Recordings, also a part of Oceanic Recordings Label Team) doing the opening of our Minimal Room Series to present our concept of deep minimal.

During these two and a half years, we published 28 great deep episodes in the Minimal Room Series, including genres of Minimal House, Minimal Techno, Dub Techno and Hypnotic. And now, in the end of summer 2024, we make a tough decision to end this series for good.

Our old friends may remember that we had three series focused on three different genres, since the very beginning of DEEPtHREEM. It was just like three cubes stacking on each other (which was also the logo back then). The overlap of the three is the sound we are truly searching for all the time. And now, we finally find it.

Closing Minimal Room Series doesn't mean we don't like minimal sound anymore, but blending our love to minimal sound into the soundscape we build now by our releasing.

Born in 1975, Mandarin starts djing in 1995 in France. It’s in Geneva-Switzerland that his career has taken another turn. His jobs as owner of a vinyls shop during the 200’s, event organizer and artistic director of some night-club’s mades him know as nobody how to drive a party. His sets explore all the trends of undergound electronic music with the sole aim of making people dance, dream and travel. His tracks are always mixed with great precision and he offers a selection as surprising as it is coherent. Ghetto house, dub house, melodic and progressive deep-tech, minimal house and techno are all the component of his music styles.
