Traktor Mix recorded Fri 29 Jan 2016. I always look for an ambient track to start off the mix. This one starts off quite heavy and ominous so we went in a techno direction and journeyed through some solid beats including a Marcell Dettman remix of Fever Ray and past some jackin grooves of Carl Craig and Green Velvet into more prog house territory of Hot Since 82 and Scuba and then back into the stabbing techno with Alan Fitzpatrick. Crank the speakers when it hits George Fitzgerald's remix of Open Eye Signal by Jon Hopkins. What a riff!
