House of Hustle is proud to present our Two Tails' debut album "Vicky”. When James pitched us the idea, we were immediately intrigued. Throughout the years he has consistently brought us quality tunes, and we are happy to say, this 13-track album, never dips below the quality we've come to expect from him.

In fact, James blew us away, with the sheer quality he managed to compile on "Vicky." The pandemic turned out to be a catalyst for James. Whilst one track existed before the pandemic, the other 12 were fully produced during the lockdown, a great way to make the most out of a time of global uncertainty. The album includes a number of exciting collaborations with talented artists such as Anna Brinckmann, Colossi Rah, Hot Pot, Aylene, CARZi, Contribe, Lucy Knox, ChrisKhaos and Story Of One. Each of them brings a unique flavor to this gem of a production.

‘Vicky’ certainly is a testament to James' versatility, productivity and quality as a producer. The balance between tracks that explore the boundaries of electronic music, and the surefire bassy bangers that are present on "Vicky", make this an easy pickup. Badder, bigger, better than the rest. This month we have some fresh blood from a weapon producer that goes by the name of Martin Badder. We thought for sure his surname couldn't actually be Badder, but it is. Born bad, living bad. What a badman. One thing that isn't bad though is his new record, Like Woah.

Mr Badder mixes and blends the best parts of house and bass together to create a genre that sits right on the precipice. Funky hats and groovy vibes and abundant, but they’re mixed with enough nasty bass to shake your grandpa’s hearing aids clean out. Martin goes wild with the FM synthesis on this one (which is just a fancy way of saying 'wob wob'), injecting dark energy into the track and taking it from the afterparty all the way home to your eyelids, whether they’re closed or not :P

Stoked to have Mr Badder join the crew here at BOC after being fans of the guy for quite some time!

For some reason the smell of chocolate milk is strong and your ears are ringing with a tune you just need to know the name of. You whip out Shazam and hold it high. Wait, this is that new ZOF y’all been hearing about!

ZOF has previously been on BOC but today is the EP debut we have been waiting so long for. This two track EP is pumping but gracious. Laced with her own vocals, the lead track Bubble is a journey into the mind of one of the coolest up-and-coming producers out of Seattle. All Day All Night is heat from the very first beat. This track is peak time club ish and should be enjoyed as required. That’s an order. 

With BUMPING remixes from Arnold & Lane & Baby Weight, it rounds out this beautiful package!

The first time I met ZOF was at a dinner table in Seattle about 5 years ago, and it makes me so happy and proud to have her now on the label with us!
