Game of Shades

Avalon Stanley is an actor and musician from the island of Newfoundland, and though he's been composing original music for decades now, his debut EP, 'BURN', was only released in 2014. The album is edgy, emotional & eclectic; a collection of yearning, driving songs. The sound ranges from the stripped down singer-songwriter stylings of the title track 'Burn' to the driving rock n' roll beat of 'No Train-No Plan'. From the soaring sax in the funk infected 'Game of Shades', to the moody delay drenched guitar of 'While You Were Sleeping' : this debut EP runs the gamut.
