I cut this version halfway during our run at the Hudson Theatres due to conflict with other scenes in the story of the Veronica/JD relationship.
This song was meant to be an inbetween before Dead Girl Walking (Reprise) but after the first faked suicides. She knows what they're doing is wrong but she still believes in JD. She is scared not of him but of what might become of him if he continues this way.
