“Lavender & Verbena” was written and dedicated for my grandma, she was an amazing woman and person, she was the roc of the family and just an all
Round amazing human being. She was A French teacher and dedicated mother and loving wife. Her name was betty. And she was an amazing grandma! She was always there for me and was our family rock. My childhood would never have been the same without her! 
She used to smell like lavender and have this Verbena hand wash which I used to buy for her birthday. And that’s where the name for this song  came from! 🎧 🎵 🎶 
There is Not one day that’s passes where I don’t think or miss her. Like when you get old accidents happen, she had a nasty fall at home while cleaning and she sadly
Never recovered! Because she was a French teacher I added a line of French at the end of the song which translate too “ Lavender and verbena… forever in the clouds” And My grandad passed away a few years before and I think she missed him so much. She’s with him now and I know she will be okay and happy! She is now where she wants to be! I love you Grandma forever in our hearts! 🥰 💔 😔 😢 😘
