..Angie, ferito, si trova sul ponte principale della Phoenix. Molti sistemi della nave sono in avaria e si accorge che non possono più viaggiare a lungo, occorre trovare un posto dove atterrare.
Uno dei sistemi di scansione rileva un pianeta con atmosfera, ma non si sa se questo sia abitabile. Non ci sono alternative, dovranno atterrare in ogni caso e tentare la sorte....

La loro missione stava per fallire...

Ancora non avevano trovato nulla di adatto al loro scopo e la monotonia aveva preso il posto dell'entusiasmo.
Finché un bagliore dall'esterno non attirò la loro attenzione, travolgendo interamente i loro sensi...

“Avangressive” is a project born in 2013, with the purpose to create a band with multiple influences, that could produce its own music, innovative, eclectical, but always with a look on harmony's aestethics.

The basis were put in 2009, from the first experiments of Gianluca (keyboards), Filippo (guitar) and Gianni (guitar). But only in 2013 the band has found its line up stability, with the arrival of Tommaso (drums), Paolo (voice) and Eleonora (bass). Since then, the band has started to produce new tracks and to perform live.

It's not so easy to describe the band genre, it can by classified as Progressive Metal/Post Rock, as every member provides multiple and various influences during the compositions.
At the beginning, the influences included grunge, electronical '70. Then they evolved, including a prominent progressive mood, and strong classical, rock and metal music contaminations.
They're still evolving now, until gaining a Zappa's inheritance. Actually, it's impossible for us to limit creativity and to stay serious all the time!

In April 2015, the band published its first EP, “Blending Galaxia and the Synthetic Formations”, a 5-tracks album based on a sci-fi story, which takes place on an apocalyptical future, where men have to escape from a devastated Earth and to peregrinate in Space, searching for a suitable place to live. During the journey, the will experience various celestial bodies.
Space heterogeneity is the most appropriate topic to show in every track our different influences and characters!

"Avangressive" è un progetto nato nel 2013 con l'obiettivo di creare una band dalle molteplici influenze che potesse produrre musica propria, sperimentale, a tratti eclettica, ma con sempre un occhio di riguardo all'estetica dell'armonia. 

Le prime basi della band erano già state poste nel 2009, dalle prime sperimentazioni di Gianluca (tastiere), Filippo (chitarra) e Gianni (chitarra). Ma è solo nel 2013 che la band trova la propria stabilità nella formazione, con l'arrivo di Tommaso(batteria), Paolo (voce) ed Eleonora(basso). È quindi da quel momento che la band comincia a sfornare brani e a fare le prime comparse live.

Non è semplice descrivere il genere della band, si può forse catalogare come Progressive Metal/Post Rock. Questo è dovuto alle molteplici influenze di tutti i membri, che si vanno a mischiare nelle composizioni.
Inizialmente le influenze comprendevano musica elettronica anni '70 e Grunge anni '90. Si sono poi evolute inglobando una prominente vena progressive e forti contaminazioni di musica classica, rock e metal.
Ma stanno continuando ad evolversi, fino ad attingere ad un'eredità Zappiana, perché fondamentalmente mettere dei paletti alla creatività risulta impossibile, come è impossibile restare sempre seri!

Nell'Aprile 2015, la band pubblica il suo primo EP, “Blending Galaxia and the Synthetic Formations”, concept di 5 brani basato su di una storia fantascientifica, ambientata in un futuro apocalittico, in cui gli uomini si vedono costretti a fuggire da una terra ormai divenuta inabitabile (e se ve lo state chiedendo, siamo arrivati prima noi di Interstellar!) e a peregrinare nello spazio in cerca di un pianeta abitabile, facendo esperienza dei più svariati corpi celesti. L'eterogeneità dello spazio è tema quanto più adatto a sfogare influenze e caratteri  diversi su ogni brano!
