NIGHT SINS - To London or the Lake

Phase Fatale is the new techno project of Hayden Payne (also behind the cold wave band Dream Affair) based in Berlin via New York. 
With only two appearances on compilations from Nostilevo and Electric Voice Records last year, Payne debuts his first 12” EP, Skyscraper, through Avant! Records in June. 
The EP moves between noise-ridden soundscapes and minimal industrial techno rhythms influenced by EBM classics, such as Front 242 and Klinik, to modern contemporaries like Silent Servant and Ancient Methods. 
Only 23, Hayden Payne approaches his music with a youthful and unique touch turning disparate sounds into driving and danceable noise. 
All tracks were recorded live using only hardware synthesizers, drum machines and effects.


PHASE FATALE - Skyscraper

Hand of Dust is a trio from Copenhagen. The band plays a personal variation of dark rock music with roots in folk and with a lot of focus on songwriting and lyrics. The band was originally formed in order to play the formerly acoustic songs of Bo Høyer Hansen, in an electric band setting. It very quickly became obvious that it was more than just two friends backing a soloist and that it had grown into a band. Bo still writes the songs but until the band has played them together they're just sketches. Hand of Dust always try to arrange the songs in a way that gets the most amount of sound and variation from just three people. The lyrics are always meant to paint a vivid picture and for the listeners to fill in their own story. 
In September of 2012 the band released a demo tape of six songs recorded at their rehearsal space Mayhem in Copenhagen. 
On the 14. of January the band put out a four song 7" EP on NY label Blind Prophet Records called "Without Grace Or Glory"
Lyrically the record focused on death and the way time seems to happen and disappear all around you whether you acknowledge it or not.
Recently the band reentered the studio and recorded two songs that will be out very soon: Walk In White b/w A Sight For The Living.
This summer the band will try to arrange a small European tour and once again take to the studio, this time to record a full length LP.

Qual is Lebanon Hanover’s bassist and vocalist William Maybelline.  
With his solo project he aims to examine his personal view on music, Maybelline moved from the pop touch of well-known and respected main band of his to cruise the slums of darker and even more extreme electronics.  To quote William's own words, Qual is about vile visions, despaired in a frowning black tower of pain. Concealed yearns of a desolate heart, trying to scratch that unscratchable rotting itch from within. Centuries of sorrow drenched in gloomy electronics that palpitate like human passions. A call for help.
