Syntrovert: With this mixtape I conclude an era of the project and a long personal life process. My goal will be taking advantage of the two hours I have available. To navigate my creative process and go through all its areas to transmit in the most generous and direct way possible what I have learned and developed in the last years of my career.

After a long road of listening to a lot of music and publishing several albums and mixtapes, I want to share this sound compilation to transmit to the community all the material that I have incorporated into the identity of the project through emotions and its bond with the scenarios of my life. In turn, the way in which these sounds are linked to each other will be directly related to the way in which I experience my creative process. Leaving all my tools with which I make music totally open and available to the listener, as an act of humility, respect and gratitude.

Under this premise is that I build a sound landscape which should be heard almost like an audiobook, that can be read by the mixtape. No random sound. Peace, Chaos, Pain, Love and rage.
Everything is connected.

Producer and Dj since 2001, Lao is a member of https://soundcloud.com/naafi and head of his own label https://soundcloud.com/extasisrecords . He has produced for the likes of Gaika , MC Bin Laden , Tomasa Del Real , Linn Da Quebrada, Nick Hook and many others. In 2018 he did remixes for Fever Ray and Interpol, he also won the NTS radio x Sonos International Knockout Cup and presented a hybrid live show at MUTEK.MX . In 2019 he's working as producer for urban music duo ForyFive from Mexico City and Avant-garde Latin pop group Defensa based in Argentina. Lao has performed in some of the best clubs in the world like Berghain (Saule and Panorama) Razzmatazz, Oil club and Circus Tokyo.

A beautiful concept of WeTransa – led by their motto: “uniting producers, creating community” – came to life almost exactly one year ago with the release of ‘Primera Transa’, joint effort between Martin.pdf and Syntrovert. Now the idea of bringing together two artists to create three collaborative tracks continues with the intercontinental cooperation uniting Berlin-based VHS Afrika with Argentina’s KRXNX who as one came up with a collection of heavy and avant-garde pieces of underground electronic music, a characteristic that is perfectly showcased by the absorbing song ‘Deisidaimonia’.
