"Going to Germany" “Goin’ to German” “Goin’ to Germa”
Gus Cannon (blues banjo legend) Noah Lewis (blues harmonica legend) and the 'Jug Stompers' recorded this song in 1929, titled 'Going to Germany' but they sang it "I'm goin' ta Germa". 
In my version, “going to Germa/n” is a reference to the January 8–10, 1811 German Coast Uprising- largest slave insurgency in US history. I believe that is what Cannon intended.
The blues provides an undertone way to protest oppression and a blues song that can be heard nearly 100 years later can be relevant today.

The German Coast was a region of early Louisiana settlement located above New Orleans, and on the west bank of the Mississippi River. It was largely settled by German immigrants.  Four slave-holding plantations developed along this coast.
The 1811 Uprising gathered an estimated 500 slaves from plantations along River Road and marched toward New Orleans. Insurgents killed two white men. The local militia was called. Confrontations with militia and executions killed 95 slaves.
There was also the reality of executions, imprisonment and enforcement fines from Jim Crow laws after Reconstruction. Jim Crow laws were a collection of state and local statutes that legalized racial segregation. Named after a minstrel show character, the laws existed for about 100 years, from the post-Civil War until 1968. Laws were lethally enforced to marginalize African Americans. Denying them the right to vote, hold jobs, get an education or other opportunities. Those who attempted to defy Jim Crow laws faced arrest, fines, jail sentences, violence and death for them and their friends and families.
In the song, the storyteller is considering collateral retaliation against authorities while being mindful of severe punishment not only to himself but also to members of his community if he does something violent in retribution to his persecution or punishment. Going to German is a way to pause to reflect on what happened to those who lost their lives fighting authoritarian injustice before retaliating to remember the heads on the pikes in German of their relatives. I believe “get away from my window” is a reference to self-isolation when Jim Crow was in pursuit of the storytelling fugitive, because anyone associated with the fugitive would also be subject to severe punishment. Turning-in oneself to face the severity of Jim Crow punishment for whatever race crime was committed was the untimely the stoic option, but only after going to German to pray and think about it.
On the 1929 song, Cannon played a five-string banjo. His and most other early banjo playing styles was not like the modern country and bluegrass styles we know today. It had more in common with the playing of jazz musicians like Johnny St. Cyr who favored the tenor banjo or six-string banjguitar that is still used in New Orleans Traditional Music in a syncopated strum or pinch playing style correlated to the treble rhythm of the song opposite of the alternating bass note to create a bounce in the tune. A banjo is a drum with strings and can be played as such.

Cells are the basic building blocks of the body. All tissues and organs are made up of billions of different cells. Human cells vary in size, but they are all quite small. Even the largest cell, a fertilized egg, is not visible to the naked eye.

All cells in a person's body are derived from two cells, the mother's egg and the father's sperm. After the egg and sperm have joined together (fertilization), the fertilized egg is also just one cell. This cell, the zygote, divides many times, and as it divides, subsequent cells develop different characteristics and functions. These different cells eventually form the different organs.

Every human cell is surrounded by a so-called cell membrane, which maintains its internal milieu. However, this membrane is not just a bag, but actively contributes to the life of a cell. The membrane controls which chemicals and other substances can enter and leave the cell. The membrane also has receptors by which cells recognize each other. The receptors also respond to substances produced by the body and drugs administered to the body. They allow these substances or drugs to enter or exit a cell. Reactions that occur at the receptors often alter or control cellular functions. An example is the binding of insulin to receptors on the cell membrane to allow glucose to enter the cells, which helps regulate blood glucose levels.

Sometimes, however, mixing occurs. ALIENS come out! People with trisomy, people with congenital disabilities. People with incredible abilities, so-called savants. All people like you...and me. We are unique and yet connected in the collective.

So! As from now we have changed our username!!! Stupidity made us belive, that this would not be making a huge difference - and now it is to late!!
Our old site name was: user-194941814
It's now clear, that all the comments we ever made and all friends we ever interacted with, can't find us at all, using this name... well... lesson learned.. guessing only a few remembers our band name, we hope that we can reach out to each and every one, in time.. until then our former username is stated here - so if anyone really is searching - they might find us somehow.. 

Well - it is what it is, and we'll find eachother eventually!

This chaotic year, turned our project upsidedown - the good thing is: Next year proberbly will be better!

Just nutheads playin' around, tryin' to find over all reasons, and output to the input. 

Bandmembers is IshaBo, the supreme guitarist and composer, LR the great bassist, that both are a lifegiver to Linnéas inner-crazy-society-creatures, tryin' to find a voice. 

The rest of the bandmembers is imaginary, lovin' and thankful to the great creators of plugins of all sorts, and ofcourse the mighty creators of Cubase.

We are so happy, you will take your time to listen to our ideas, and hope you will leave a comment and/or a like.
