Winter Waltz

A companion piece to "Winter Waltz."

Lately, I've been in a "waltz-writing" mode. There's something about a waltz that is both sentimental and energizing at the same time, which makes it very appealing. This particular waltz is an improvisation that I recorded a month or so ago on my old Yamaha Clavinova, and then promptly forgot about it.  I managed to uncover it just in time, before Autumn "waltzes" away. It contains some of the charming "flaws" that come with recording on a 25-year-old instrument, then attempting to master it. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it, as well as the rest of the Autumn season!
