This is Horripilations. This is electronic music with the raw, uncompromising soul of metal.
But this music is more than just a sound; it’s a testament to a choice.
For too many years, I let myself be held down by anything easy and weak. Bad people, drugs, the comfort of apathy—it’s a trap that’s all too easy to fall into, and one that most people never get out of. Surrounding yourself with people who want to keep you down becomes a way of life.
I was fortunate. I got out right before it was too late.
But getting out is only the first step. The next is unlearning a lifetime of self-destruction. It’s a process that feels almost impossible... but it is never zero.
To do it, I had to go alone. This journey led to complete isolation in the mountains of BC. I intentionally separated myself from everyone and anything, the good and the bad, to channel every last bit of energy and focus into this work. It was an incredibly difficult path, made harder by being misunderstood by the very world I'd left behind.
My album, "Aware," is what came from that fire.
It is the sound of that isolation, that struggle, and that intense, reclaimed focus. "Aware" is the proof. This is what happens when you turn your back on weakness and dedicate everything you have to your vision.
Please, allow this music to help you get into the zone. Let it be the fuel to find your own focus and fight for what you want.
