My 3rd child, Leo, was born last week - so I've started an uplifting progressive house track inspired by him :)

My friend Adam Fielding has just released a free single called 'Are You With Me?'  He also released the stems so that people cand have a go at remixing it, so that's what I've done :)  My remix is a laid back progressive house track, produced in Studio One Pro 2.6, mainly using Spire and Omnisphere.

I wrote my 1st song when I was 12 on a Casio keyboard, it wasn't very good.  I remember coming 2nd with it in a school competition where you had to write your own original music, the winning piece was a cover of a Bon Jovi's 'Livin' on a Prayer' - not exactly original...lol

Anyway, I've started a liquid drum and bass track, and the piano in it is based on the riff I made when I was 12.  No idea if that's a bad thing or not.

I've reworked the track into a dance-floor friendly version using Ableton Live 8, Reason, Sylenth, Omnisphere, Albino and Soundforge.  I also made a little video detailing how I put the track together here:
