Being obsessed with computer technologies since childhood. I realized there is more to that realm than the hardware behind it. 

After attending my first series of underground raves, my brain couldn't help but link those weird soundscapes and paranormal tones to the electrical circuits I work on everyday - the order hiding behind chaos.

Rich grooves, dark basslines, and acid infused sounds are what tickles that special part of my brain.

Here I am on a journey to hunt down those sounds.

This week we have Nomia, a producer who's deep dubstep is carefully composed. He has just finished recording an album and we'll play a couple unreleased tracks. His passion for self development and philosophy also led him to start a podcast and media company called Meta Minds with his counselor friend Dan. 

Hyperfluid is a 2 hour show, the first hour is a podcast style interview with featured tracks thrown in and the second hour contains an uninterrupted guest mix from Nomia.

AVAXA plays melodic house and techno until her fingers bleed, leading you through expansive mountainsides and dark corridors. 

Purple Sneakers described AVAXA as “one of those enigmatic artists that imbues meaning to every detail as to create a mythology around their music.”  Fixed in the search for the new sound; she is always looking ahead to see how the aural sphere can be reinvented. “I hear a lot of this amazing dark, industrial techno in Berlin, but I think it can be important to combine that with the soft, melodic sounds that engage with you, that connect with you. No sound exists in isolation, it’s about creating a cohesive experience” 

AVAXA has played at renowned venues such as Keller Kulb (Berlin), Capulet (Brisbane), Circus and Day Spa (Melbourne)and festivals like Jungle Love, Yonder, Ethereal Valley and Bambozilled. She has returned to Australia after playing shows in Germany and Austria for the innovative Ars Electronica Festival. If you get the chance to see her play, bring some mesh to catch the pieces of her soul she shoots through her fingertips.

Nomia is a multi-faceted artist project reigning from Brisbane, Australia.

Nomia has performed at festivals in Canada and Australia including Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Earth Frequency & Elements, headlined his own interstate shows, and held several residencies in Brisbane’s thriving bass scene. Nomia brings his chest-thumping, journey-like sets with him wherever he goes, unlocking the gates of mystical expression for the whole dance-floor.

With over 500k total plays on his unique bass music online, Nomia's music has been played globally at festivals like Outlook, & on radio shows like Rinse FM & Subtle FM, from the likes of Truth, Youngsta, N-Type, & many more up and coming dubstep artists.

With a huge backlog of unreleased music, it’s safe to say Nomia’s influence in the underground bass scene is one everyone’s keeping an eye on.
