These are 4 original tracks recorded at the Dreams Loft studio in Galway, Ireland. They feature Kylie Morrow on bass, Dylan Goffi on cajon, and Dave Carlsen on vocals and guitar. The album was engineered, produced, and mastered by Pete Duffy.

A little description of the lyrics for each song (in case you're wondering):

Aiden's Wake - I took a break from Galway City and spent some time in a small village in Connemara, Ireland. I was repeatedly invited to a memorial concert for a local musician named Aiden who had passed away at an early age. Despite not knowing him, I went to the "wake" and experienced an amazing night of music fitting for such a beloved musician. 

Uncertainty - This about ending up somewhere you never you thought you'd be (Galway, Ireland for example). It's about questioning where you are but being optimistic about where you're going. This description is coming across way douchier than I imagined. haha

Namaste - This one is about dating someone you have nothing in common with but enjoying it while it lasts.

Lollipop Tree - This is about wanting to turn off you cell phone and get out into the woods. There's a tree near my Dad's cabin that has rounded limbs, a circular silhouette, and sits alone on top of a hill. Locals and river rafters call it the Lollipop Tree.

Originally from Folsom, California, Dave has lived and played live music in San Luis Obispo, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Cork, Ireland, and Galway, Ireland. Dave generally plays acoustic guitar and sings at open mics but did play several venues in San Luis Obsipo with Central Currency, a band of local notoriety. The band split up because the members moved to different cities and Matlock had an extreme drug problem. (just kidding) 

Dave's style is influenced by classic rock, singer/songwriter, and Americana/country. His style has been compared to Jim Croce (via a really drunk Irish man), Reel Big Fish because the live shows are usually filled with ridiculous covers and self-deprecating humor, and Lynyrd Skynyrd due to the "every man" style of lyrics. There is rarely anything cryptic in the songwriting. If you hurt yourself thinking about the lyrics, you're thinking too hard.
