After taking the Discards' souls, he achieves a PHOTOSHOP visage.
The fight would be nearly structurally identical to the Flowey Fight.
Although, the Discards don't help you out here.
You'd have to grey out the souls, instead of crying out for help.
Not everyone will heed such a call in life, I'm afraid.

In the fight, you're very powerless and out-of-your-depth.

In the MAIN segments, he'd be very similar to OMEGA FLOWEY, firing unfair attacks from every angle, and attacking the player mercilessly.

And in the interlude segments, you'd be attacked with bullets and images resembling fucked-up versions of UT characters.
He's jealous of ALL OF your adventures, after all.

For those who don't know, Nyct's lore as IMAGE_FRIEND, is that he's a shard of Gaster, warped to be something similar to YOU.
A parasite able to control a lightner host.
He was supposed to BE the PLAYER.

(So basically, FRIEND INSIDE ME, but utilised for it's player parallels.
In CH6, NYCT is purposefully possessing the ANNOYING DOG, to parallel how the Player's true form is a little red kitty.)

(He's kinda obsessed, huh?)

However, right before Nyct could be sent out onto the DELTARUNE adventure, Gaster replaced him with YOU, and left NYCT to rot, discarded in the depths.
Out of spite, NYCT discarded YOUR vessel, hoping it'd disconnect you from the game.
But it simply set you on an alternative path.
...
NYCT is aware that DELTARUNE is a game, by the by.
Which is what makes their lack of purpose so much more painful for them.
Lost in darkness, knowing everything is empty.
He hates you for taking his place.

He hates you so much that he chooses THIS body simply to mess with you.

It's his magnum opus, so to speak, in the essence that this is a chosen form.
Used entirely to mess with the players head.

It WOULD have a lot of imagery pointing out Nyct's bad mental state too.

Oh.
And GASH, too.
You might be safe behind your screen, perhaps even a little entertained.
But for Gash, this is very real.
Just how long can they take the stress...?
