Dewey is a queer artist and promoter based in Kansas City, MO. With a deep passion for
soundsystem and club sounds, their sets display a range of genres, creating a unique world of self-expression and unapologetic joy. As a co-host of Wavelength, a KC-based party, Dewey is dedicated to promoting liberation for all through the authentic creative expression of inspired artists, DJs, producers, and healers in Kansas City and beyond.
One of Dewey's core intentions as an artist and curator is to help others connect with
themselves and one another through the transformative power of music across all genres. By recognizing music's universal ability to inspire and heal, Dewey aims to create spaces where people can embrace their true selves, find solace, and build deeper connections within themselves and their communities, free of the limits placed on us in every day life. recorded live on Low Pressure Zone (https://lowpressurezone.com/) over a couple of sessions as i wanted to rearrange/add a little after the first run. chill/mellow mix with moments of energy and darkness.

2025-07-09 update: renamed this to Mellow Moods, to make it both more clear from the title what kind of mix it is / stay consistent with my existing series, plus i want my LPZ mixes to be mostly freestyles. while a large portion of this was indeed the result of a freestyle and recorded live on LPZ, a lot of it (~40%) was planned too.

Mellow Moods 190 - Interwoven

This is the digital recording of the Evolve Audio Showcase live at Konnexion Music Festival 10! This mix features the whole Evolve Audio crew; Soul Velocity, One Bad Dude, Will Sonn, Alex Sacknoff, Leo Zman. We had a 3 hour slot to open up the festival on Thursday. This family style set features segments of each of the Artists mixing for multiple of 15 - 30 minute sections during the 3 hour mix.
