[ITB030] In The Box : Averina

A Florida based DJ, Averina is a proud Zelos Audio resident and is also known for her duo-project, RINAS, with Arina Krondeva. 

Simultaneously inspired by the underground electronic scene and Orlando’s local community, Averina blends breakbeat with minimal for a fiery summer sound. Her influences for this mix came from artists such as Kosh and Lubelski, who focus on rhythmic experimentation.

On a mission to expand her crowd’s ears, Florida based DJ Averina curates a bass-ridden, UK inspired musical experience with infusions ranging from breaks and electro to trance and techno. Averina’s ability to travel through genres while maintaining the uniqueness of her sound has established her as one of the leading DJs in Orlando playing their first ever Boiler Room, as well as reaching beyond her hometown and playing both Okeechobee and III Points Music and Art Festival. Her wide range is seen as she’s played support for  DJS such as  Sasha, Sam Gellaitry, Anfisa Letyago, and Partiboi69. Exploration and play are her guiding forces, which can be truly felt with every heartbeat on the dance floor.

[ITBSTARS007] Averina glides through sound, spanning from acid-breaks, electro, trance, all the way to bass and UK Garage. Fluidity is at the center of her sets. Currently honing in on her production skills, while also curating parties that bring these genres to life as well as shining a light on the underground Florida talent.
This mix was inspired by a huge transitional period in her life. Every ending brings a new beginning, overflowing with layers. Returning to In The Box is incredibly special to her because it marked the beginning of her musical centering, and the creation of her present sound.
