Regal’s genre-bending sound has been capturing the hearts and minds of ravers and industry heads since 2012. His staunch productions have garnered support from techno’s well-established vanguard, including noted collaborations, projects and remixes with Amelie Lens, Hadone, Nina Kraviz, Ellen Allien, Emmanuel Top and Len Faki. Regal’s sound graces clubland with full-throttle impact – whether at the legendary Berghain, Awakenings, Possession or his residency at Khidi in Tibilisi. Alongside his own productions, Regal’s imprint Involve has become established for delivering sharpened 303 infused acid sounds. The imprint has welcomed artists including Boston 168, FJAAK and Alignment and is now also the home for his debut album this June.

“The concept has changed a few times over the past few years” says Regal. The focus was to make an album that tells the story of his personal struggles and self-discovery, a dark insight into the DJ’s life, influenced mainly by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’, where Dante has to cross all the layers of hell and purgatory to arrive in paradise.

‘Dungeon Master’ emits a seemingly demonic presence as warping synths intertwine with staggered kick drums and lasering sound effects.

Berlin's FLASH Recordings is a leading underground imprint of the finest techno, headed up by Florian Meindl, and admired around the world. The latest release contains four original works plus a special bonus track that was previously a vinyl only selection on FLASH, and that was featured on Fiedel's recent Berghain 08 Mix CD for Ostgut Ton. Italian-Berliner known as Avgusto, who is a key artist of FLASH with numerous EP's and remixes for the label. His contributions can also be logged for the likes of Kaputt, Elektrax, !Organism and Amazone also, as he continues to be noted as an exciting producer. The tracks range from raving, high octane club weapons, to more hypnotic, driving sounds that have a powerful and gritty vibe all round.

Doug Cooney has been one of the driving forces in Irish techno for a number of years now, both his productions and his DJ sets are marvelled around the country and further afield, receiving support from the likes of Bens Sims, Answer Code Request and Jon Hester.

With previous releases on the likes of ORBIS, ORGONE, Research and his own RLSD imprint, we're delighted to see Doug's next EP was signed with none other than Bastardo Electrico, one of Irelands longest running labels/club-nights, headed up by Cork techno enthusiast Jamie Behan.  

Doug's Real//Sound imprint is more than just a label, it's also an independent music school for aspiring DJs and producers in Dublin, hosting workshops and showcases for those involved. 

We were lucky enough to pick up 'Higher Self' from his forthcoming 'Dark Stream' EP for a premiere. A deep, percussive track that channels the sound of old school techno with metallic riff that twist and turn while still maintaining a modern twist.

Julian Muller joins the Collective with a brilliant release that exposes at the maximum level his abilities to transfer emotions and vibrant landscapes where you can freely run and have your own experience, with no time indication, and with no compass.  'Frustration' signs a moment in the career of the artist where his desire to show who he really is, but everything around him starts to become smaller and smaller, The Artist feel the need to express in his whole form his art, and right when everything looks far, he finds his path.  This record signs a very important moment for the Artist, but even more for the user that will encounter the record, the idea is to let the record take you, wherever you want to go.
