Say What? is back with some new heavy hitting tracks this time coming from YAB (IT) aka I AM BAM and c-HAUTEM - the duo delivered 3 straight forward monsters ready to attack the floor 

We start with the main track 'Rising Force' - a real low-end roller that is destined to blow up speakers worldwide with its deep kick, groovy hats and a hypnotising vocal to top it off 

Second on the release is 'Love Know5' that kicks off at a slightly higher pace than the previous track, but keeping it dark and punchy. The low-slung groove and the floating melody in the back make this a perfect tune for the main rooms 

The third track is called 'Noir' - another piece of madness that will fit perfectly in many sets. Rough beats and rumbling lows, what the title states, showcase its darkness and tie the release together like a glue

The first release of Venom Recordings is decisively marked by the quest for new musical creativity. A common thread which unites the three Venom’s residents Erlin James, Paul Roux and Absence Of Light, as well as the various artists invited to work with them: Dasein, Julien Piacentino, Satom, Against The Time and Memorial Home. By following their own creative path, they shaped a soundscape that blurs the boundaries between dark and melancholic vibes. Both yearned for nostalgia and inspired by the future, all of these artists combine a compelling deep percussion groove with spellbinding dark textures. When their tracks hit the dancefloor, you will be moved by the rolling bassline and pulsating drums. But the distinctive sonic experience of darkness they provide will also awaken the most obscure and dusky emotions buried in you. An ambivalent feeling whose every inch you will savor. Techno extraordinaire Rudosa returns to the studio to deliver a damaging edit of Frank Biazzi’s ‘Transition’, marking his debut contribution to Christian Smith’s Tronic imprint. Expected to follow in the footsteps of the Mancunian’s recent hit ‘Dominance’, the cut sets a precedent for yet more original and remix projects in the coming months.

Entering as it means to go on, ‘Transition’ opens with Rudosa’s staple reverberating kick, flecked with incentivised high hats that drive its momentum and confirm its peak-time worth. The catchy sample of “transition” permeates the cut, acting as a centrepiece for each musical phrase and tethering it to the roots of its counterpart. Injecting a dominating alarm synth on the off-beat, the track takes a gritty turn, preparing listeners for the introduction of an acid-led drone that guides us to its first break. With an overlapping of mutated vocal samples, Rudosa lands a devastating drop that once again showcases his mastery for percussive elements. A true musical rollercoaster, Rudosa’s adaptation ebbs and flows, leading the listener by the hand on a journey right to the centre of any dancefloor or rave.
