A KING and QUEEN have reached their wit’s end. Cursed with a timid, fearful daughter who lacks the ability to laugh and feel joy, they feel she is severely impacting their glowing reputation as fun, jovial rulers. To maintain popularity and prove their PRINCESS is not defective, they decide to hold a kingdom-wide contest to make her laugh. An ensured victory, however, requires that the stakes must be high: this comedic contest suddenly becomes a matter of life and death.
