Well, I've been working on this for WAY too long. It's done now! This is the sequel to my Symphony in Color (which was Movie soundtracks). It's not following any specific theme other than the fact that it's just my favorite themes from various video games I've played. Some aren't even main themes, but they're all really cool pieces. Here's the EP's opening, the theme of Chrysalis.

I see her as a fallen queen who wants her army and her throne back.
What I wanted to do here is a slow beginning with some sort of dangerous vibe and a slight touch of sorrow/sadness, hidden behing a mask of hateful rage.
I see her coming back alone in the first place, gathering more and more drones.
And, at the end, when she gets her army back, I tried to put some choirs chanting her name.

I like how this piece turned out and Maria Grigoryeva's outstanding violin play gives even more feelings to it.
