I wrote this song in March 2020 for all the brave and excellent people who are working on the frontline during the covid-19 crisis, and in memory of those who have lost their lives fighting for the lives of others.

Avi Simmons is a singer-songwriter based in Kent. Avi has written and performed music for award-winning, 5-star, Edinburgh sell-out show A Heart At Sea (halfastring.co.uk/a-heart-at-sea), and featured as folk musician in Marlowe Theatre co-production Box Clever that premiered at the Edinburgh Festival in 2017 to 4 & 5-star reviews (http://avisimmons.com/new-page/). Avi’s first EP ‘You Said Live’ was released in 2016 at the Gulbenkian Theatre in Canterbury. Her emotive voice and poetic lyrics pull the listener into an inevitable journey.
