Buzzing in the summer breeze
Nitrogen brought us to our knees
Hysterical affect from the sting of bees’
If you please, won’t you believe
A million stories hidden in a pile of leaves
If you please, won’t you believe

I saw myself walking a new path
Awoke from the faint like Sylvia Plath
Words melt like lava, fly like ash
This dream awoke to ineffable cache

I walked 30 miles to escape the past
Only to realize time was moving fast
A non-linear spiral like the Celts had
Woven in dreams, colors of plaid

Tantamount to a catamount
Believe the lilacs emit the right amount
Astrological stories paramount
Beyond when I drift into the deepest ground
