Week of 26 April

Happy weekend everyone! This time we would like to introduce you Elliot Moriarty, who is one of the brightest stars to emerge into the realm of Electronic Dance Music. He started experimenting with and exploring music at 11 years old and was inspired by the likes of Sasha, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul and Judge Jules. It was clear from this early age that music was his real passion, which is why he remains determined and focused more than ever, as this passion has grown enormously over the years.
Elliot started off DJing at local parties and events, until he was 20 years old, when the mighty Ministry of Sound came calling. It was obvious at this point that he had a natural talent for the craft, and this was noticed immediately. Off the back of this first major gig, he successfully secured several bookings and went on to play at venues including Pacha, Eden, Cable, Lightbox, Egg, and also the now World famous We Are FSTVL.

Our next guest enjoys his glass of spiced rum on ice: Darper, a UK / Hastings based Producer and DJ. We're always amazed when we listen to his mixes and are more than happy wo welcome this talented producer and versatile storyteller on board!

Darper, a guitarist at heart, spent his formative days running his own label and producing electro. Darper’s sound is a melodic brand of organic electronica, one that sets foot into both the lighter and darker ends of electronic music. DJing from London to San Francisco, Berlin to Burning Man. He has his own long running Electric Fiction mix series on Frisky Radio. And has released music on a number of imprints including Culprit LA, Ton Töpferei, Balance Music, The Soundgarden, Traum Schallplatten, Sag & Tre, Hidden Vibes, Klub Kids and Anjunadeep. Darper continues to develop his sound and is gaining traction with his thoughtful approach to music.

A long time ago when I last played in Düsseldorf and after the first attempt to play for the Absurd boys in 2021, which was not possible due to the pandemic, the second attempt finally worked🙏
At prime time in the basement there was a really lively atmosphere and I was really impressed by the small but fine location. So I started my set at around 2 a.m. and you can get an idea of what came out by yourself🔈🎶❤️
Big THX once more to the audience of that night and espacially to the crew for sure🙏❤️
