"Oh, that boy..?  He seems nice but most of the town doesn't like him very much. He seems to always be getting into trouble."
"My mom said I can't play with him... She thinks I'll get hurt-- BUT I WOULDN'T!!!"
"Poor kid could use some friends. He's always running around the village smiling and causing all sorts of trouble.  It's sad to see him playing alone all the time though."
"Always causin' trouble that one... I'd put a stop to it if'n I didn't know why he acts out like this. Best to just hope he settles down on his own."

"Hello" One voice says unseen in a shy tone.
"Hi" A second and third chime out in shrouded murmurs. Others giggle playfully as you realize there is nobody around. Are you finally losing your grip or have the guardian spirits come to greet you?

You take in the sight that is your final climb and begin your first step. This is it. Do or die, there is no turning back now.

Staring Down Oblivion

You approach a rather strange wisp with a playful visage. It says nothing yet you can tell it's happy to see you.
"It's just... staring..?"
"I think he's smiling at us!"
"It doesn't seem malicious, just sorta... odd-- And now it's dancing..."
*Sigh* "Let's just keep moving..."
Your party leaves unnoticed as the wisp continues to dance without a care in the world.

The Weird Wisp

I was denied my birthright... Cast away like a stray dog! Left to wander these barren dunes and forced to survive by only the labors of my bare hands! Now I have you snot nosed brats to worry about? Before I even consider aiding you on your journey, you'll first need to prove yourselves to me. Considering there is zero chance a couple of kids could possibly handle the dangers that lie ahead... seems you don't have much of a choice.

The Desert Pariah

You sink further... further... further still... and yet you feel no fear. These quiet depths pull you further down still. Peace washes over you as creatures bioluminesce in wonderful colors like stars all around. It's funny... you can't help but to draw comparisons to your time spent in the vacuum of space. "As above so below" you suppose with a suspenseful grin.

Amidst the desolate whispers of a forgotten era, atop the ashen summit of an ancient mountain ruin, lies a black obelisk wreathed by the red heat of the setting sun. Its imposing silhouette stands as a sentinel, shrouded in archaic fire raging with enigmatic power. Adorned with the eerie pyric runes of a forgotten tongue, it beckons proudly with a cacophonous bellowing hum; promising secrets veiled by the obscurity of time. Tread cautiously, for within this ancient monolith rests the unbound soul of an incomprehensible evil and power. Beware the cost of failure to vanquish the foulness of this wretched place.

The Switcher's Tomb

With a final breath you release the ward set upon the imposing black tower before you. The swirling inferno swiftly dissipates as the runes quickly fade away, and for the first time in ages it is silent upon this blazing summit. With a final wheeze the obelisk shears itself open, engulfing you in blinding white light and searing heat. Regret and fear bind your soul, yet you find solace in knowing this was your only recourse. As you ready your blade and peer into the brilliance, the billowing silhouette of the Sol Eater materializes-- a demon, born of pure flame, bred to feast on stars.

Music has always been a hobby and distraction from all of life's chaos. My influences are the games of my childhood and I am typically inspired by the locations and scenes I dream up from time to time.

I plan to one day make a game using all of my best tracks, at least that's the goal anyhow. All donations, although completely unnecessary, will pay my way closer to that eventual goal, so I am personally grateful for anything at all!
