[avo009] 'Radiance' by HICCUP introduces a series of tracks representing different perceptions of light radiation in which they attempt an experimentation to create an artificial synesthesia for the listeners while still calling them loudly to the dancefloor. The EP also includes a heavy-driving, old school influenced remix of the first track 'Glow' by Italian techno artist Kaiser. Will be available on vinyl and digital, on April 3.

Turkish live techno duo PRY’s 3rd EP ‘Vulpes’ featuring 3 original tracks by the duo and a remix by San Francisco based techno artist Müzmin pins the avosync’s 12th release at the beginning of 2019. Besides the first track and its remix are featuring a recording from an old cassette named Ruhlar’ın Sesi (Voice of souls) which is about some collection of ’metaphysical experiments’ trying to communicate with the dead people, the tracks share the common expression of a mixture of an intense meditative state and hypnotic dancing which represents -in the duo’s own words- ‘the contemporary jungle we’ve been raised into’.

Gergemann aka Gökalp Ergeçen is a Turkish producer, DJ and sound engineer based in Istanbul. His musical approach bases the interactions between sound and space that occur in the human mind and body. Shaped momentarily in different places and enriched by the daily life experiences, these interactions take their form as music. Recently he became a renowned face in Istanbul Techno scene, known for hypnotic as well as dynamic performances. His style alternates between sub-genres, with the motives of evolving sounds and textures, creating an unpredictable way of musical journey.
His very first release, [avo013] Tarlabaşı EP, comes with four dance-floor ready tracks, and derives its name from multicultural district of Istanbul hosting various social conflicts, where the producer has been based in the past years. The EP combines and crisscrosses dark and bright sounds, nested rhythms with the embellishment of atmospheric and hypnotizing textures, structured with club-oriented base. While this hard-driven base creates continuity at total, the sudden discontinuity appears in parts generating contrast to express the conflict of everyday life.

The split has been made limited amount of 60 pcs. by Solium Records owner Yoan and co-released by Solium, CASETTA, EUBPDV Records and Contemplatio along with us.

HICCUP’s next EP ‘Outlandish’ is being premiered with an included digital bonus track, ‘Life Doesn’t Frighten Me’ a week before the release itself. While the track includes a poem written for children by well-known public figure Maya Angelou, it is also accompanied by a video clip made by motus.lumina in which he manipulated Jean-Michel Basquiat’s paintings that has been also featured on an illustrated book with the same name as the poem before. Istanbul-based live techno duo HICCUP returns with a new 12’’ EP on avosync. As the label's 15th release, 'Outlandish' is accompanied by two robust remixes from VSK and Lag. Made by the love for old fashioned techno music mixed with the soul of the current era, the EP also includes two digital-only giveaways, with one featuring a children’s poem by Maya Angelou (read by her) in addition to the five tracks on the vinyl, serving out a discourse on the outlander's matter.
